'We are alone,' Zelensky says, slamming Biden and the US for standing by while Ukraine goes through a 'all-out war.'
On Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky chastised the United States for failing to assist his country as it faced its "second dawn of all-out war."
"We are defending our nation alone this morning," the president stated in a chilling new video message from his undisclosed location in Kyiv's capital.
"Just like yesterday, the world's most powerful country watched from afar," he continued, clearly referring to President Biden's government.
The attack on his country, which targeted Kyiv on Friday, was likened by Zelensky to "what Europe has saw during World War II."
"Europe said — never again," the leader stated, warning that Russia's incursion was "the start of a war against Europe."
He also asked citizens to "demand from your governments greater financial, more military aid to Ukraine," accusing European nations of being "in no rush" to help.
He asked, "How are you going to assist yourself when you're helping us so slowly in Ukraine?"
He further urged any Europeans with "military experience" to "come to our nation and assist us in protecting Europe," despite politicians' "indecision."
He did, however, commend Sweden for providing "military, technological, and humanitarian aid," stating the two countries were "joining forces to fight Putin!"
